The seafood fajita plate for 2 was really good, but I don't think it was real crab meat.. Great value but some of the other plates seemed a bit high priced .. food was good though.. Sat by the bathroom and it was a bit smelly

Just ate here with wife for the second time. We went just after they opened, and chalked the mediocrity of the food up to it being new. We were terribly, terribly wrong. This was the worst food experience we've had in a long time.
The queso was tepid. The pork dish I had (something adobo'ish sounding), was so salty it was inedible. My wife, "playing it safe," ordered the nachos. To quote her, "If you f---up nachos, you shouldn't be in business." Could not agree more.
In a town with very few quality restaurants, this establishment is, by all measures, the worst of the worst. One could not make worse quality food, even if one tried.
(Gave the waitress $40 because she was the only bright spot of the experience, and sadly, she'll be looking for a job soon.) -

El Jimador Bar and Grill is a New Mexican Restaurant on the South side of town in the old Steak 42 locale. Awesome Mexican food with recipes from Jalisco, Mexico. Prices are reasonable for the plate of yummy food you receive. Service is superb. If you like Taqueria Jalisco by the Northside Walmart, you will more than love El Jimador. Both restaurants are operated by the same family. It has a full bar and serves breakfast too from 11:00 am-2:00 pm daily. Definitely try this place.

Food was not good and service was not good. I wouldn't go back. This was for dinner. I had the enchiladas and they were not even hot. Chips were old.
